The 2010/2011 World Series of Poker circuit tour added a new stage in Oklahoma as the Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant will host its first-ever World Series of Poker Circuit event from January 6th trough 25th 2011. So now the 2010/11 schedule includes 13 official tour stops, and one more is expected to be added soon.

The English poker star Liv Boeree, the European Poker Tour (EPT) San Remo champion, will be among the celebrities expected to appear in London for Poker in the Park 2010. The fourth annual edition of the festival will run from Thursday September 2nd trough Friday September 3rd. Poker in the Park 2010 expects to attract  20,000 poker fans over two days, with tournaments, lectures from big name pros, tuition tents, stalls selling the latest poker merchandise, and much more.

India is getting very interested in playing poker, both online and live. Playing poker for money is considered gambling and is prohibited everywhere except Goa, so playing poker is not totally legal in the Country: Indian laws are ambiguous when it comes to online gambling and there are several grey areas within the current law structure.
